We have a complicated business set-up and without Inca we’d be struggling to keep the tax authorities on both sides of the Atlantic happy!

I guess we’re a little different to Inca’s normal clients in that we’re Americans operating a not-for-profit business in the UK but still have to file accounts in the US.

I moved to London from America about 18 months ago, Inca were recommended, and they’ve been really easy to work with ever since. Both my boss and I are new to running our own business so I’m just getting my feet wet in terms of accounting, especially in the UK, and Inca were very open in explaining things to make it easy for us.

Graham has been really helpful jumping in to meetings to explain some of the more complicated hoops we have to jump through. Billie, my personal contact is also very responsive, answering all my questions; even if I feel I’m bothering her, I get great service.

Because my boss is half American she has to file US taxes, her accountant over there also needs UK company accounts to file for her return. Graham was so helpful, working closely with our US accountant, so we didn’t have to spend money on a full set of accounts for the US tax year, producing a set of pro-rata books to align with the US. It was something very specific that we didn’t even know we needed and without Inca we would have been lost.

Our mental health business is now really taking off in the UK and thanks to knowledge and help from Inca we’ve been able to focus on supporting our clients without worrying about the accounts.
