Lesley Carson – ACCA Qualified Accountant & Founder and Director of Inca Accountants
I set up Inca Accountants in December 2002. I have been an accountant all my professional life, initially in industry around Berkshire where I was born and raised. I moved to the Abingdon area of Oxfordshire in 2002 a few months before Inca Accountants was created. Since then Graham and I have built up a multi award-winning, successful accountancy practice and team, both of which we are extremely proud of.
We continue to grow every year. Proudest in these achievements was becoming the Best Independent Accountants for the South West of England (which includes Oxfordshire) at the 2018 British Accountancy Awards.
I am an ACCA Chartered Certified Accountant, a fellow of the organisation. I am the senior accountant at Inca, the practice holder. I therefore sign off on the company and sole trader accounts we deliver as well as the self-assessment tax returns. As the head of the practice, my role encompasses many other responsibilities too – my favourite aspects include training and developing team members and making customers happy!

I previously worked as a European Finance Director based in Seattle and Berkshire. One of my interesting facts is that I made my husband redundant!
