For many people – even business owners who love what they do, life can sometimes feel a bit like walking the wrong way up a downward travelling escalator.
You invest all of your time and energy into work, in return for the money you need to maintain your position; if you work hard enough, maybe you even move up a few steps, but you never break out of the cycle of having to work to live.
It’s different for the wealthy: instead of being tied to exchanging their labour for money, they’re able to invest their wealth to make more money. They can then use this to buy the most precious commodity of all – time – and be free to spend it however they like.
It seems so unfair. It’s no secret that money makes money, so if you were wealthy, you too could enjoy the lifestyle you want, choosing whether to work or not. But how is it possible to get to the point where you’ve acquired the wealth necessary to be in this enviable position?
This is what Inca Director Graham Carson will reveal on 18th October at our workshop, ‘How to Start Your Journey to Financial Independence’.
As Graham will explain, you don’t have to inherit a fortune or win the lottery to enjoy financial independence. It’s something anyone can achieve; you just need to understand the basic principles about how to use (and how not to use) money. With some simple tenets in place, you can begin building the wealth that will eventually provide you with financial freedom.
What Will You Learn?
Graham will discuss how different sectors of society view and utilise money, and how this contributes to the continuing disparity between those who have wealth – and those who do not.
He will explain what financial freedom actually means, and how anyone – regardless of their financial circumstances, can begin to make the transition from being a slave to money, to making money work for them!
By the end of the workshop you will understand:
- How wealth is created.
- The difference between income-producing assets and ‘toys’.
- How there are two kinds of debt; ‘good’ debt and ‘bad’ debt.
- How to use your income to begin the process of wealth creation.
This is an interactive workshop. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask Graham questions as we go along. It will be jargon-free and fully accessible to you regardless of what level of knowledge you may have about financial matters.
Who Is It For?
You might be a business owner or in employment. You could be counting your pennies at the end of each month or have income to invest. Whatever your current situation, if you’d like to free yourself from the financial rat race and have the choice to work or not, come along to this workshop to start your journey to financial freedom.
What we’re going to talk about could change your life – and the lives of those you love. We welcome spouses, life partners and even children to this workshop. It’s never too early to start preparing for financial independence!
