Amy Russell – Sales and Marketing Manager at Inca Accountants
I am Amy, ‘Inca Accountants’ Sales and Marketing Manager. Having been brought up in Bristol, I moved across to Lambourn in Berkshire and have been working at Inca since April 2015. Prior to working in the accountancy sector, I was a reception manager in a 200 bedroom country house hotel, so Inca is a completely different environment. I love the learning and development opportunities that my role provides! My role at Inca Accountants is primarily to assist our prospective new clients by making it easy for them to come on board. Many people believe it’s difficult changing accountants. My job is to ensure that moving accountants to Inca is easy.
I also meet prospective new clients to discuss their accounting and taxation needs and to prepare me for that process, I have studied the AAT accounting programme and have passed all my exams. I represent Inca at networking events in Berkshire where I get to help a number of local business owners develop referral relationships. My goal at Inca is to take Graham’s job as soon as possible but between then and now I am focussing on accountancy and taxation for small businesses and their owners in Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
“One of my interesting facts is prior to getting a ‘normal’ job I was a professional dancer for 10 years during which I danced at Disneyland Paris. I also auditioned for Cats 8 times! Never got the job though!”
My biggest dream in life would be to open an animal sanctuary (if I ever win the lottery!).
