Are you harnessing the power of referrals in your business?
If you’re doing a great job (and we’re sure you are), referrals will already be coming your way spontaneously. Just take a moment to think about the clients you’re working with right now – how many of them were referred by other clients, contacts, friends or family? At least a few, we bet. So, imagine what your new business pipeline could look like if you had a strategy in place to actively encourage referrals.
Referrals have a much higher conversion rate than other lead sources, and once a relationship is established, they’re more loyal, likely to spend more with you and stay longer. And because someone else has done the marketing for you, compared with clients you’ve won through paid-for media, referrals are a far more cost-effective and sustainable way to grow your business.
Despite all of this, referrals are often overlooked.
According to Dr Ivan Misner, founder of global networking organisation BNI, while 98% of businesses depend on referrals, only 3% of them have a referral strategy in place.
You don’t need a marketing expert to explain why referrals should be the cornerstone of your sales and marketing strategy. Somebody who’s had a great experience with your business – or knows someone who has – will be only too happy to share it with others. And people are far more likely to trust a recommendation that comes from a person they know.
The last 18 months or so have been challenging, but if you’re ready to capitalise on the predicted post-lockdown economic boom, don’t let a limited marketing budget choke your ambitions.
In our July webinar, How to Get More Referrals for Your Business, Amy Russell of Inca Accounting will explain how to introduce a successful referral strategy into your business – to transform your sales process and deliver as many referrals as you can handle!
Who Is It For?
Our webinar is for anyone who owns or works in a small business and is responsible for generating sales leads.
What Will You Learn?
Amy will share the secrets of how Inca successfully generates referrals from various sources, including customers, networking contacts and strategic partners. She’ll explain how, with just a slight shift in mindset and by implementing a simple referral strategy, you can easily create a stream of regular new sales leads for little or no extra cost.
